Solve : IE and Chrome need help?

Answer»

This started with messages saying my IE was outdated.  And indeed it was slow and sorta acting up. So, I installed IE 9 for Windows 7 only to find out I already had IE 9 for Windows 7.  But I did go ahead and do a NEW install.  (It took away my beloved tool bar favorites, not the others)

Then IE and now Chrome are both........
When I make a search on Google, click a page (I've been trying for Amazon), so click to go to Amazon, I get a "This page is not available".  I run the troubleshooter and it says 'no problems found'.

Now, when I take Chrome to Amazon, it loads a BLANK white page.

Then other pages open but a white box comes up and blocks me from seeing.

One time it came up and said the site didn't have something like an ID number.

The odd part is that it's not every search, it's certain periodic websites.

And inside one of my ONLINE programs, when I want to switch to a new window, windows comes up with ...  "continue running this script?  Yes & No".  It repeats it, so I have to quit.

Another thing... I see I have no Java on IE in the manage add-ons.  I've always had java there before.  I tried to learn how to put it in and couldn't figure it out.

Should I do a system restore?

(sorry I wrote a BOOK!)

You can try FireFox as a temp solution.
http://www.mozilla.org/Clear your cache files regularly and Internet Explorer is on version 11 already. Remove Java by Add or Remove if regularly visited websites is not needed and update Flash plugins as well.  Might wanna run your antivirus and MALWAREBYTES to clear possible PUPs and Adwares just in case.
