I researched everything I could find on the forum but nothing seems to be the same as the problem I have. As per directions... I have a home built COMPUTER with intel celeron 1.7ghz 1.2gigs ram with the only internal addition of an nvidia geforce fx5500 video card. I am running XP home sp2 with IE 7 and everything as updated as I can find. I have used spybot and ccleaner with many fixes performed by them. Two areas that I find having the problem so far are first: when INSTALLING (either by disc or download) the program for my digital camera the computer will STOP the install phase and go into a shutdown and restart loop. Just when windows starts to open it shuts down and starts again. I have to go into safe mode and RESTORE to an earlier date. The second part is when attempting to link to the download site at Kodak, the browser will shut down all windows that are open. My wife just tried to sign up for and play some games on Pogo but when she selected the game she wanted to start, the browser shut down again the same way it did on the Kodak site. I don't know but that it sounds like some sort of flash player or JAVA problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Do you have Flash Player installed? Do you have Java installed?Yes to both.
