Answer» I just CREATED a new user account for my wife on my LAPTOP running xp.
Internet explorer runs fine when I use my user id, but if we logon with her username, it's hooped.
It will LOAD the homepage (google) after about 2 MINUTES, then it just hangs.
nothing happens when I click the go button.
Logon with my original account, and IE works fine.
Huh?Have you tried running conection manager on her account? (Program Files/Internet Explorer/Connection Wizard/Inetwiz)
What privileges did you grant this new account?I have tried the inetwiz utility to no avail.
My internet connection is working fine.
LAN is up and running.
The problem seems to be a configuration issue.
I've LOOKED at the internet options folder and looked for something to change, but it's all proper.
