i when i BROWSE websites using IE i get IEXPLORER.EXE application error 'the instruction at "0x04d3f870" referenced memory at "0x04d3f870". the memory could not be read'. and the window closes. can somebody tell me why it happens and how to correct it.Check your RAM first with memtester - free at www.memtest86.com, then get back yo us.

Are your adware/spyware/virus programs up to date and being used? What version of IE? Have you tried to reinstall it, or done anything with the computer prior to this? Any other symptoms at all?my IE version is 6. i use spybot, ad-aware, AVG programs.And how about the memory test?yes i have downloaded it but i don't know how to use it as it is opening in DOS.It comes with a readme.txt.
Let it run for many hours & see if it shows any errors.i runned it for 2 hrs. without any errors.Do them for me

i scanned with online panda and found spywares like new.net, marketscore. HPW to remove this? i have spybot and ad-aware.Google is your friend.

Some conflicting softwares also give this result.this problem occured after installing some free games from a cd which came with computer magazineDo we need to say anything now?

Just uninstall those games and see if all is well or not. thanx for help, i have already uninstalled this games.Although I don't think it's CAUSING your problem, did you remove marketscore?i have removed spywares using ur help, but when i active scan with panda it shows following spywares which it cannot disinfect. when i try to search them using command prompt or add/remove program it cannot locate/find them.
