Answer» HELLO all. Im sure my newbishness will show itself soon ENOUGH. Ive only had a PC for about a year and this the first problem ive had so im lost. If i click on any link, as long as the link is in the same window, i have no problem. But any link that tries to open in a new window, my SCREEN locks up for 30 SECONDS or so and then i get a "Internet Explorer Has Stopped Working" message followed by " Internet Explorer Is Restarting" message, which then takes me back to my homepage. Any suggestions? I have one suggestion. Download Firefox here. In my opinion it is a better web browser than IE. However if you would like to continue using IE just let us know which version you are running. If it's IE 7 than you can just open things in a new tab as opposed to a new window. That should eliminate your problem because then there never be a new window opening up.Welcome aboard What Windows version? What IE version?
