Hello, I hope that these are IE issues. Here they are...

Cannot download, anything. The yellow bar never OCCURS and the website will just go away.

Internet options will not click open.

The top of my browser is missing. There is no file, edit, etc. It is gone.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall IE8. It does not change.

I have restored many times. Nothing changes. In fact, it will not let me restore anymore.

I have run for VIRUS's. It reads that I do not have anything.

Any new hardware/software installed RECENTLY ? ?Avanquest and it will be going on a week. No, I have not run anything new. But, I have noticed that I cannot remove the Ask toolbar. 1) Try Firefox or Opera and see if they work - let us know.
2) Never HEARD of Avanquest. Run a free online scan (http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/)
3) Run a scan with MalwareBytesDownload

Run full scans and see what comes up you may also want to try

Just so you have links and let us know how you get on.I am not able to download anything. It will start, still no yellow bar. Or, it will start, and nothing happens. So, I am not able to scan for anything. The only good thing is that I am still getting security updates automatically from Microsoft. I just do not know what to do. Download them on ANOTHER PC and transfer them via USB or CD.
