Answer» :-/
I have IE and foxfire on my computer.
USE dsl with win XP.... I will boot puter up, go to IE and it will not get online, while at the same time I can click on Foxfire and it will get online then go back and click on IE and then it will get online too.. What gives?
It is like IE can`t make the connection but foxfire does and then IE can.
I prefer IE. Can I unload IE and then reload it? Where would I, and how can I do that ?
Thanks in advance Janyou can repair IE by TYPING in the following at the Run prompt:
rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance
not sure if this will resolve the problem thoe, but worth a shot.Jan Clark..... Do you get any error messages when you attempt to use IE6 ? Have you run any sort of spyware SCANNERS ?
Have you have the latest updates from M/S for Win XP including SP2 and all the critical updates ?
Is you default browser SET as Firefox or IE6?
