Answer» I'm using IE 7 on Vista Home Premium, and when I click on a link on a webpage, it is not added to the History folder, and the link doesn't change colour.
Many thanks for any helpDoes it do that on all WEB pages? Check your color settings in Internet Options. You might have the "visited" color changed to be the same as a regular link.Only on pages I've visited in the last day or so. Also any new pages visited do not go in the History folderCheck your browsing history settings in Internet Options. It sounds like you may have it set to always check for newer versions or you may have too small of a cache. Tip: Have it AUTOMATICALLY check for newer versions of stored pages, and disk space to use should be around 100mb.It was already set to automatically check, and I've now set the disk space to 100mb; however this hasn't helped! You may have days to keep in history set to zero.Nope!Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab. Click on "RESET" button. Restart computer. So are you saying that the only way to rectify the PROBLEM is to delete all browsing history? No, Reset button puts IE in its virgin state - everything, like add-ons, is disabled.Quote from: Broni on March 30, 2008, 01:50:32 PM No, Reset button puts IE in its virgin state - everything, like add-ons, is disabled.
I see, but that would include deleting all browing history, and there's no other way to fix the problem?I can't assure you, it's gonna fix the problem, but it'd be first thing to try.why do you need to save your browsing history?
