Answer» I just got rid of Firefox and got iE 8. and something is going on.
Now when I get a e mail from this forum or any other and the link that says go here to see your topic and so on. When I go to click on it my mouse turns to a Hand and wen I click on it nothing happens.
It use to open up my Firefox browser and take me to the web page. But now wen I click on it nothing happens. I am useing Outlook Express 6. and iE 8.
I have my Security settings at Medium and everything at Default???Hi nymph4,
Are you not able to open links from other locations? Or, are you just not able to open links from your email?
Cheers, Cassandra IE Outreach TeamNo links work ok in iE but if you e mail me or the website from here tells me I have a REPLAY to a post I can not click on the link to tak me here it does nothingDo you know for sure IE is now set as your default browser in WINDOWS XP?yes I un installed Firefox and iE is now the default browser.
If i click on an html file I make iE opens it.
Do I have to check or set something? If you go to Start, Set Program Access and DEFAULTS, what do you see there, particularly for default browser and default email program? Do these settings appear under "Microsoft Windows", "Non-Microsoft", or "Custom"? A screen print might be helpful. If IE8 is set as the default browser, the next step is to make sure that Outlook Express is set as your default email program. To do this click on Tools > Internet Options > click the Programs Tab > Set Programs > Set your default programs > and make sure that "Outlook Express" is selected as your default e-mail program.
Let us know if this fixes the issue!
Cheers, Cassandra IE Outreach TeamI see no Set Program Access and Defaults what do you meen>Exactly what I said.
