Solve : IE9 and tool options?

Answer»

Since installing IE9 I believed I had managed to locate all the FUNCTIONS I need except now I find I cannot view a website's source code. There is no option in 'Tools' (that I can SEE) for 'View' like there was in previous IE versions.

Please can anyone help

To view source code, go to View | Source; this open a window showing the source code; this screen does not ALLOW editing the code. To get to a screen where the code can be edited, go to Tools | F12 DEVELOPER tools, or just hit F12. This displays a panel in the lower portion of the web page where the code can be edited. Thanks but that is what I used to do with previous versions of IE but I cannot find 'view' in IE9.

Oh, in other words, IE isn't showing your Menu bar. Right click somewhere in the toolbar area of your browser and select Menu bar to make it display. Of course! Now I feel a right wally. For some reason I thought with the new set up everything was found via Tools.

Thanks.
