Solve : install vmware player on ubuntu? |
Answer» i (FINALLY) got ubuntu running on my pc... thanks to VMWARE player but now i want vmware player ON linux but i completely, ABSOLUTELY, indefinately frogot how to do it... some ONE please explain erm whoops mistyped that i ment that i had installed it thanks to me learning some bits and bobs from vmware (now ubuntu is a fully operational system on a separate partition) and i want to install vmware inside of ubuntu Yeah, and you can download it from the aforementioned site.but vmware player isnt what i want i want to be able to run a guest os inside of ubuntu... locally which they no longer support in the free version...Quote from: liambiscuit on December 31, 2007, 12:29:55 PM but vmware player isnt what i want i want to be able to run a guest os inside of ubuntu... locally which they no longer support in the free version... Type 'sudo apt-get install virtualbox' in the terminal (I think that's what it's named, ANYWAY). |
