I'm trying to put Knoppix on an Harddrive. When I go to partition the drive, I select manual. I end up getting this error "The installer detected that the installation requirements aren't fill fulled yet. please make sure that you have a FREE partition with at least 0 GB to install knoppix on. Also, we need a swap partition with at least 128 MB if you don't have 512 MB memory. In the following menu, you can start some tools to partition the drive. If you really really know what you are doing start with : IGNORE_CHECK=1 Sudo knoppix-installer to avoid menu." I press enter and it takes me back to the partion menu. I end up cycling between the two, I have 320 MB SDRAM installed an partitioned 20 GB harddrive.Have you done what the installer is asking you to do? I.e create a main partition and a swap partition?No cause I keep getting the erorr message.Manual partitioning is not a trivial exercise and is best avoided by newcomers to Linux. Better to let something like Ubuntu or one of the hyper-user-friendly distros GUIDE you through the process.I like knoppix and its GUI interfacement. I'll try more shearching to resolve this and any help will be appericatedElse try Kubuntu, it uses KDE for the GUI like Knoppix.openSuSE
