Answer» I'm trying to install Linux to a flash drive, but I keep getting the error message "no bootable partition in table". Or it asks me for a command line entry. Which version of Linux? Have you done this before? Puppy is easy to USB ify. Have a look at UNetbootin: http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/
It will write an ISO to a flash drive or even download and install a distro of your CHOICE AUTOMATICALLY!THANK you! I am now more confused than ever!!!!!!!! When I downloaded that PROGRAM, I got the prompt: ubnkern initrid=/ubninit_ (blinking cursor). What am I supposed to type there? Linux often has command line prompts to go further, and I have no idea what to type in, making the program USELESS to me!Why don't you just try installing Puppy Linux?
