Answer» using WINDOWS vista. instant messenger working fine, but can't connect EITHER firefox or internet explorer browsers. GOING through dell support center it says "you are already connected', I tag "browse the internet", it says "no internet connection detected". we are using a WIRELESS connection and other PCs are working fine along with instant messenger one the one in question. Everything was working fine a few days ago.Try to connect your computer straight to to the modem, bypassing ROUTER, and see if it works.
