Windows explorer is the same with Internet explorer
explorer.exe = IEXPLORE.EXE
IEXPLORE.EXE is some kind of a shortcut to explorer.exe


Whem you open a page with explorer.exe, it switches automaticaly to internet explorer. Just try it and you will see the FOLDER Button change into the FAVORITES Button ..... same as all other buttons .....


As for FireFOX, I don't think it ever run better on WindowsXp than IE which is made by microsoft and its part of it (of winXp)

couture.ish asked how to repair IE he didn't ask how to install another program. It's like when you GO to a doctor, you say that your eye hurts and he tells you to replace it with a GLASS one

YEAH, um... XtaszY, are you on your namesake?

Go to Start > Run and type IEXPLORE. Internet Explorer should pop up. Then go back to Run, and type EXPLORER. You should get different results. If not, let me know; your PC would be having trouble.
