Solve : internet explorer does not open?

When I click on internet explorer from my desktop, i get a blank page. I see at the top of the bar welcome to TABBED browser. I have never had this problem before. Also, when I open up IE and I have to click on a little tab at the top, then another tab to the left that says yahoo. Then Yahoo opens. Also, when i have links in my EMAILS I am not able to open those up either. Nothing happens...Anyone Help!!!

What email program are you using?UNINSTALL IE8

Programs and Features
Right click on Internet Explorer 8 and uninstall

Restart computer

Run Windows Update, VIEW the available update, uncheck IE8 update, right click and Hide the IE8 update to prevent it from installing again.

Try resetting internet explorer (there's instructions from HP's website which look good) and resetting IE, assuming nothing goes wrong, is meant to fix IE if it's in an unusable state back to factory settings. Hopefully it helps you with the issue.
