Iam a newbie to here.
My question to anyone that can help is that IE6 crashes or come up with the not responding window some of the error codes i get are as follows:

ntdll.dll
appcompat.txt
hungapp
ole32.dll

I run a AMD 64 939 PIN 3000+ 1.8 GHZ

With 2x 512 MB DDR400 PC3200 Ram
80 GB SATA HDD
ASUS A8N-SLI DELUXE Motherboard

Albatron nvidia 6600GT SLI ready 128mb/128 bit PCI XPRESS graphics card

OS is win xp pro v5.1 (build 2600 sp1)

Running pccillin 2005
Webroot Spysweeper V4.0
Nvidia Firewall


Also on occasions Outlook xpress will do same and some wormal window applications as well.
I have done 3 different xp install prog's i borrowed from relatives etc.
Still the same happens when i install the SP2 origanal disc from MS it GETS more frequent.
Please if anyone can help it would be much appreciated
as this is getting frustrating.

Had you added anything prior to this issue starting ?

Can you refer to the event log and post the complete error message as it may help ?

Well it's BENN GOING on for a few weeks now and i have been reading and searching with no success.

Like i mentioned it is a fresh xp pro loaded again,
the only things i have on there right now are my ant-virus and spyware prog's also a mobile phone prog.
The puter is only 3 MONTHS old now it was working v good b4.
The problem i think started after my wife downloaded KAZZA (AND I hate P2P prog's )
Like i said this is a fresh install did a quick format as well
and b4 i got on the internet it didnt respond with MY Computer open.
As far as the event log where do i find this to post it to you? ( sorry if i sound illiterate ) again Thanxdl65,

I just remember something else that may help u help me
Prior to this instal i remember trying Mozilla Firefox and Opera Web browsers and they were shuting down in the same manner .
Hope that may shed some light.
