Solve : internet explorer not working :(? |

Answer» I had to do a sys. restore, and I have done hem before and it hasnt messed up, and then I decided to go to another restore point... well after that I figured out my IE had messed up on my first Sys. restore, and I couldnt go back... now on to the problem... for some reason I can't download anything, when I click to download something, nothing happens... sometimes a little white box will APEAR at the top right of the screen, and sometimes nothing will happen. The other thing is the tabs bar disapeared, so I can't do tabs, and I can't right click and press "open in new tab... It isnt there (so I can't get to my favs. either... What Operating System? Why did you do a System Restore?I CHECKED in the change or remove programs channel,,, it said internet explorer 7, and the shortcut to it is the internet explorer shortcut... it's more glossy than the one of internet explorer 6. Windows And it's a dell XPS. A game wouldnt uninstall.When using System Restore, always 'undo' a restore point you picked before picking another restore point. Also, System Restore is not a substitute for uninstalling programs. FYI.... it did uninstall it though...I would reinstall it and then uninstall it properly. I merely pointed out that a System Restore is not a substitute for uninstalling programs. If you want to suggest that he re-install the game in order to uninstall it, go for it. Did you try reinstalling IE7?
