Answer» OK well i am 15 yeas old and got a Q my dad says that when u view a video on the internet (like youtube.com,veoh.com,EXE)that it lets people in and gives virus and maybe more. now i do know that it could gives virus but i am not sure about the others? can you guys help me out plz before i get in trouble again plz. tyIf you have good, up to date security protection (firewall, antivirus), you'll be fine.Watching videos on Youtube is no THREAT to your COMPUTER.ok i 1 more Q can cookies give virus that is a nuther thing that my dad keeps on saying but i told him that the cookies is a small text file which contains a unique ID tag, placed on the computer but then he says that it can also have a virus on it but i am not sure about it cuz i learning about computers so i think it is a good IDEA to ask these Q's.Quote the cookies is a small text file That's it. When you download some videos from less know site, or, especially torrents, or P2P program, ALWAYS scan them with your antivirus program, after downloading. To be careful with them What are these Q's that you have ? ? Do you mean questions ? I have alot of T's and A's in my life right now but i wouldn't want others to assume what they are incorrectly...If your computer has a good virus scan and firewall which is updated DAILY then you will have no problem in watching videos in the net.
