Solve : Is Elemental War of Magic any good.? |

Answer» Ok so my wife and I are getting a little tired of playing Civilization 4 and are looking for a new game of the similar type. I am wondering if any of the fine members here have tried out "Elemental War of Magic" and would like to know what the general thoughts are on it? I have tried to find the demo but can't seem to locate one.I didn't find one on the site, so the chances are pretty good that there isn't one.There was supposed to be one some 2 months ago or so. I don't recall it EVER showing up anywhere and it isn't to be found now either it seems.From the pre-released testers and reviewers, I've heard they are not impress and it's scored low. Decent strategic FOUNDATION, but horrific BUGS, missing FEATURES, a poor interface, and plenty of other defects. I would suggest it's rubbish (4/10). Good luck finding a great game to play! Maybe go for Starcraft II if your online connection is good and that is your style of real-time strategy gameplay. I would make a lot more suggestions as I'm a gamer, but I more perfer First Person Shooters and RPGs, etc. The only turn-based strategy game I can currently think of you might be interested in is Heroes of Might and Magic.Azzaboi, Thanks for the info. I played the old starcraft games but don't think my wife would like playing it very much. We are looking for a game that we can play together. I myself am a gamer also but my wife and I like playing different types of games so it is rare when we find one like Civ that we enjoy playing together. It didn't really feel like a "Civ" game. I would suggest that you download the demo before you buy it.Thanks for the advice. I will do that. |
