Solve : Issue with Opera's Tabbed Browsing!??

Answer»

Hello There!

This observation is pertinent to Opera's Tabbed Browsing. As soon as I click(Right) on a link to be opened in a 'New Tab', it IMMEDIATELY MAKES a transition to show the contents of this New tab.

Whereas, I wish to remain on the current tab & simultaneously open New tabs to view their content afterwards, Opera immediately makes a transition to newly opened tabs & causing a great deal of inconvenience!

Is there a way to make it stick to the Current Tab? assuming you have opera 10.50, the latest version of opera...

right click the current tab, then click on "Create Follower Tab" from MENU that comes up. This will create a new tab next to current one while keeping your current tab active like you want it to do.Wow!

That's the great way to maneuver the things! Now as soon as I Click on anything, it opens up in the 'New Tab' & that too without causing a perturb!

Thanks 2x3i5x.

However, unlike other BROWSER options, Isn't there a way to direct Opera that 'Links should always open in a New Tab & that too without MAKING a transition"??

I wonder if they'll come up something, in probably, the next update of theirs!? If you mean links direct from webpages, I can middle click it and the link will open in background tab. Or I can right click and select "Open link in background tab"
