Answer» my brother and i both have the same, but OTHERWISE seemingly unique, problem. i have googled the problem and haven't found anyone with remotely similar problems. no matter what game i try it with, it LOCKS up with lan games. if it searches for a lan game( some games auto search, that really gets annoying) it just locks up. if it doesn't auto-search, itl lock up trying to host a game. i can PLAY online games just fine. No problems connecting to our server pc for files either. just cant do a LAN game. i could realy use some help here. thanks to anyone who can help. also , these games all used to ALLOW me to play multiplayer just fine its just in the past MONTH or so that lan games stoped working.what kind of router do you have? is it wired or wireless?wired, dont know other than that ill ask my dad when he gets home wow.... now im really cofused. i just got civ 4 and it doesnt crash when i host a game. all other games i try still do.
