my laptop will not LET me sign into websites, im USING windows xp os i cannot sign into the sites using internet explorer or aol. At certain times i can sign onto the site using a pc on the same network then it will let me sign in, but not always.

it MUST be an interner explorer problem because it works fine with fire fox

Close IE.
Go START>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools, and click on Internet Explorer (no add-ons). Same problem?it worked fine that way
Good. That means, one of you toolbars, or add-ons are giving you a problem.
In IE, go Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab, and click on "Reset" button.
Everything should be working fine, now.
If so, you may start re-enabling add-ons/toolbars, BUT only one-by-one, until you find the culprit.
