Answer» Okay I'm new to Linux since I never MESSED with it before. So how do you network it with windows? Any other help about the os would help. to HOOK up a linux box to a windows network, you will need to USE Samba. Most linux distros have samba INSTALLED. open the control PANEL and look around for samba and you'll have to configure it to hook up to your windows network. you'll need to tell it what the name of the network is. I don't think there is a whole lot more to change.
