1.	Solve : Lost everything trying to repair IE6?
Answer» Was trying to repair IE6 because of slow page loading and following advice that looked to require reloading of XP in order to re-establish IE6. WELL I've lost everything and am sick to my stomach. I'm trying to find out if all of this can be undone and things can be retrieved. I NEED help in the worst way.Whose advice did you FOLLOW and what exactly did you do (steps you performed) to repair IE6?What method of re-installing did you use ? ? Try and remember as many details as possible...this is important.I talked to one of the computer guys that runs a LOCAL business a while ago and he said if I did a total install that I basically wiped out everything (I did). He has some programs that MAY be able to recover some of the most valuable things for me. It taught me a vauable lesson and that is to back up everything you really want to keep. He said he should be able to retrieve my documents and most of my desktop stuff. What a dummy I am.
