I installed Mandriva (sp?) on my slave hard drive, and put the boot RECORD on the MBR.
After awhile i DECIDED i wanted to use that space on the slave drive for file storage, so, i went into windows and formatted the drive as i figured it would just delete Mandriva. Though, on start up i am still getting asked which OS i want to load.
Is there ANYWAY to get rid of this?Boot with a Windows CD or boot disk. If USING 98 type in fdisk /mbr
If Win2000 or XP boot into repair mode with command prompt and and type fixmbr
What if i don't have a windows xp pro boot disc?www.bootdisk.com for a free download of whatever you need.
