As a "thank you" for Bioware fans, everyone who purchased a copy of Dragon Age II can download Mass Effect 2 for free. The offer is good until April 30th, so you can still buy Dragon Age II until then and get Mass Effect 2 for free. It seems it doesn't matter how you purchased your Dragon Age II (online or in a store): "All Dragon Age II game owners who purchased a new copy of Dragon Age II and follow the below steps before April 30th at 11:59pm PDT qualify."

I had purchased DAII about a month ago - Worked for me, thanks.I forgot to ALSO mention that if you ALREADY own Mass Effect 2, like me, this adds the RIGHTS to get the digital download of the game and gives you a second key. If something happens to either of your ME2 DVDs, you'll have a free backup in the EA Download Manager (but with a new key).
