Hi! everyone, I'm so irritated with this issue of password prompting, Microsoft Internet Explorer Keeps prompting for password when ever i launch it, if don't supply does details it wont connect to the internet, i find this so annoying and time consuming, how can i get rid of this option and launch IE once. the proxy setting is address 10.0.0.1 port 3128, do I realy need to use this proxy info? and i cant connect MSN messanger 8.0 as well i get the error that says check proxy setting, but i can connect to the net while browsing. If i change the Proxy setting wont it affect Internet connection?

please helpSometimes yeah, sometimes nay, but mostly yeah. Look for SETTINGS that will allow you to temporarily bypass or disable proxy settings. Look in the browser settings for never dial a connection and always use LAN.yeah remove the proxy and see what happense, for WHATEVER reason its set to that it shouldent be.. i checked and 10.0.0.1:3128 is not online right now anyways.. , if the login box still comes up change your internet start page..Who setup the proxy ? ?
If the proxy servers aren't online neither will you be...Ask your ISP, if they REQUIRE proxies..Well it was all setup by someone who left the company and i have to work out all this without causing any ambarassment, i still have to get intouch with the ISP and ask them that, but i need to get rid of thid password staff, is there any suggestion on how i can speed up the internet connection? because PAGES take so long to open
