Answer» Anyone know where to GET the beta release of Flash Player for 64 bit WINDOWS platforms? Flash Player for 64 bit windows platformsYou do realise the usual Flash player will work on all 64 bit systems, just no 64 bit browsers? Quote from: kpac on December 18, 2009, 05:27:48 AM http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer Actually that's what I meant to say... So it runs on 64bit windows but not on the 64 bit browsers.. gotcha Quote So it runs on 64bit windows but not on the 64 bit browsersYes! If you're running a 64 bit version of Windows, which I assume you are, then you will see "Internet Explorer (64 bit)" in All PROGRAMS. Flash player will not work with this, but will with the normal version of IE.Cool! I didn't even notice the 64 bit IE in "All Programs" I assumed that installing the Vista 64 would automatically use a 64 bit IE browser. I read that when using 64 bit OSs you have to use 64 bit programs, but I didn't consider that 32 bit apps. can run on 64 bit OSs so I got confused.. I've only been a user of 64 bit windows for a week or so Quote I've only been a user of 64 bit windows for a weekSame here, for about a month. Quote I read that when using 64 bit OSs you have to use 64 bit programs, but I didn't consider that 32 bit apps. can run on 64 bit OSs so I got confused..In your main HDD, you will see a "Program Files (x86)" folder - that's where 32 bit apps are kept. 64 bit apps are stored in the normal Program Files folder.good tip... thxmore then you want to know about x64 file/registry redirection Quote from: BC_Programmer on December 18, 2009, 09:54:56 AM more then you want to know about x64 file/registry redirectionHaha love the slogan!heh Quote from: kpac on December 18, 2009, 10:02:34 AM Haha love the slogan!
