How would you go about changing the contents of a ROM?

Tools & Utilities for ROM Hacks, etc. But I'm fairly certain discussion of such things would be against the forum rules.

EDIT: these aren't actual ROM's; they are ROM images in the form of files. Quote from: maxum on March 26, 2011, 12:03:00 PM
Yep! I want to personalise my computer(s)!

By editing NDS files?My computer(s)!

nintendo DS is a computer.
I have a DSonei supercard for the NDS.
And there is a micro SD card in the DSonei to plug it into the computer (to put games in it). Quote from: maxum on March 30, 2011, 10:39:47 AM

Not a general purpose computer, no.

Not for TRANSFERRING ROMs. the SD card is for saving data. Unless you have that weird aftermarket attachment thing, then you can transfer homebrew DS games.
Either way, you can't modify them. And you can't use commercial games (well, there probably a way, but again, forum rules would prohibit such brow-raising discussions.

All the system files for DSonei are on the sd cardI agree with Kpac. Just look up a program to edit them on Google. I'm sure their's plenty... Quote from: BC_Programmer on March 30, 2011, 03:46:07 AM

This was the correct ANSWER.  This is a US-based site and we don't help with piracy and other things deemed illegal by US law.
