Answer» Just upgraded from XP Pro to WINDOWS 7 Home Premium 32-bit and found out that Need For Speed Carbon crashes immediately upon execution. Tried setting it up with compatability mode for Win98, Win2000/me, and Win Vista SP1 as suggested on google hits with others with this game crashing with Win 7, as well as renaming Movie folder in game to Movie1 and it still crashes with same result. Below is the crash info. Anyone know of the fix to this or ABLE to run Need For Speed Carbon with Win 7 32 or 64 bit?

If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\Windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txtIt works for me in win7 x64, just fine- absolutely no compat settings at all.
Although it refuses to use 1440x900, just like far too many other titles ( )
EDIT: it looks like a "LAUNCHER" program is crashing for you (nfsc_link.exe) as opposed to the actual game executable (nfsc.exe).
