Solve : Need for Speed High Stakes. Fathers PC?

Answer»

We installed Need for Speed an it ran okay so he wondered if there was a way to put in more TRACKS since we havent played this game untill we realized there was a patch for xp. So I put in a car an a track booted the game an it didnt come up to the intro so after forceing it to exit I removed the track an tried again. Still the same problem so he complete uninstalled it and reinstalled everything. But that didnt work so he cleaned out his registry but it still dont work. Its a Dell Dimension 8250Any IDEAS why it wont work? We tried installing it an it still wont work.Any thoughts out there? Try uninstalling the game, DELETING its folder, running ccleaner (the file and registry cleanup), and then installing the game.Thats sort of what we did. Quote

Well there's your problem....... *Assumption*We installed the patch.Problem is still thereMaybe the patch is the problem. Perhaps the patch doesn''t work.It works on mine.So anyone know why it isnt working then when it should?Any that jump out at you?Squall_01, i will say this as kind as i can. if there were people out there that KNEW the solution to this or had any ideas about a solution, they would have said so after your first post. please stop with the repeated posts, it is extremely annoying.Know your mocking me. i am not mocking you. i am MERELY publicly displaying my distaste with your repeated posts. please put a stop to it. as i stated before, it is extremely annoying and there is no need to have so many posts in a row.

P.S. its spelled "now".
