Answer» Hi. I have downloaded the realease demo for NFS Shift, tried it out, only to find it crashed my computer. When I got it working again, I went to canyourunit.com and did a system check for the game. Everything came out as a 'Pass' except for my CPU. It said the minimum GHZ required was 1.6 GHZ, but mine runs w/ 2.1 GHZ. This is a laptop with Windows Vista. If anyone could help, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.I have read somewhere (I can't remember where) that the minimum system requirements for NFS Shift have been posted out WRONG. They are higher than what they STATE. So there is a chance you are not hitting the Min requirements.Laptops aren't build for gaming, THOUGH some preform very well or EVEN excelent while gaming, it's still not MADE for gaming, you cant upgrade allot..... and therefor not smart to use a Laptop as a gaming platform.
I found the NSF Shift specs, herese the processor and the link to the site.
Processor – 2.8GHz or faster (Windows Vista requires 3.0 GHz) http://blogulate.com/content/need-for-speed-pro-street-demo-download/
your laptop isn't fast enough to run it.heh, I was going to say, that a 1.6Ghz will barely run Underground at low settings...
