when i click on a link in IE and a new window opens, the new window will not load anything.  i have ALREADY tried returning all my IE options to default just incase i screwed it up but it still won't work.

In some websites there is a problem if you open in a new window.
They want it to open in the same page.
Forgot to ASK:

Are you right clicking and selecting open in new window.it happens on all pages that automatically try to open in a new window.  it also happens when i manually try to open any link in  a new window.  the window will appear but nothing else...no load bar or address or anything.  

also forgot to SAY that the popup blocker is off.  of course the window wouldn't open even if it was on though.

any ideas??That windows will open even if the Popup blocker is on.

It blocks popups and not new windows.
Since when is this happeneing, did you do anything like installation of a new toolbar.Dr. Jones......By any chance , did this issue start after the installation of the recent M/S updates .......there were 7 or 8 a few days ago .....
What O/S are you using ?
