Answer»

Hia ive just bought a new game i have installed it correctly and i have the direct x version 9 which the game needs. the game SAYS i need pentium 111 800mhz , a 3d video card, 128 MB RAM, windows compatible sound card, direct x version 9 CD-ROM x4 drive and 800 mb of free hard drive space. How do i find out that my computer has all of these requirements? Also could there be another reason why the message NFREN-OUT OF RANGE is coming up? please please help thanksIt must be game SPECIFIC since not even Google can bring up more than 5 search results using the phrase NFREN-OUT OF RANGE

My guess, which is as good as yours, is that your refresh frequency is set too high.

What is the name of the game and have you downloaded all available patches for it?

The Belarc Advisor can tell you what your SYSTEM specifications are.Its pippa funnell - the stud farm innheritance . what are patches and how do i know which ones i need for this game?sorry im rubbish with computers lol

refresh frequency is set too high. how do i lower this and what does it mean? You can lower the refresh frequency by taking the following steps:

1. Right click on Desktop
2. Properties
3. settings tab
4. Advanced button
5. Monitor tab
6. Set the refresh rate to 60 Hertz if it is not allready at that rate.

In case of not being able to go above 50 Hertz, do not force 60 Hertz.

I have never heard of that game, but you may be able to obtain a patch at the manufacturers website.
