Solve : Not enough memory??

Answer»

Back again with a different problem. This time, It's not a difficult question but a question from ignorance. I USED to play an MMO game called Mabinogi.

http://mabinogi.nexon.net/Preview/intro.htm

My computer is very WEAK and old so the game freezes and is slow from time to time. I bought a graphic card that help it run better but it looks like I need more memory as well?

So... That's the problem. I don't know anything about memory and RAM except that you stick them in the computer. I'm also worried that my computer might not be compatible with current memory whatdoyoucallthems. I'm also worried about price. So... If you have any suggestions to help me so that this old computer can run at least a game like Mabinogi (I'm not attracted to high end games like Aion), I would much appreciate it.

Here's the computer specs. I didn't put them all up so if I'm missing any essential info, please tell me.

I've broken my computer countless of times (As it is shown from my previous topics) so I don't want to rely on my brain when it comes to computers. So thank you for helping me and my brain!RAM RAM RAM RAM RAM

Would that be okay? I mean, my computer is very old. Is there like some computer requirement for current RAM?Yours will be fine. I looked up some info on Crucial online about my computer's memory but I'm not allowed to buy stuff online.

But I found SOMETHING similar (I think) in the bestbuy stores. Would this work with my computer and if not, could someone help find me one? :<

Thank youi think the motherboard supports up to 1GB
also your page file is very small
are you tight on disk space?Quote from: Pleanie on August 20, 2009, 01:54:57 PM

Ok that's ok so all you need to do is buy what we call call a stick of RAM. And you want about 1gb. Can you not get online and buy at all? Have you not got a friend who can? We can help you find places to buy if your stuck Quote from: Pleanie on August 20, 2009, 03:59:57 PM
