Answer» Thank you x2543; actually Yoko Ono (Lennon's Widow) gave David high praise for his rendition of "Imagine". I don't think I named anyone in particular as a ragger. the only person who has said anything positive about David is x2543. If you feel you need to defend yourself then you must be guilty. Look guys, I'm really tired. can we just end this thread...my original reason for starting it has been met. And I hate discussing David with people who don't know the least about him. Your insistence that we click it only confirms any suspicion of that sort. And to be honest, American Idol or whatnot is really just a fad. Anybody remember the first winner off the top of their head? I sure don't, so chances are they didn't become famous, which confirms it's just a network ploy like that ridiculously STUPID SURVIVOR show, which has so many spinoffs it strikes a chord on all tangents (pardon the pun). They win the game. They release a few albums. Everybody forgets about them. They fade from the spotlight. The end. Or more precisely: They win the game, they release a few albums, cover a single song alright, fans post link spam in various forums, argue when forum members try to diagnose issue without visiting the site, become extremely aggravated at the slightest JAB at the "messiah artist", suddenly say it was the forum members that were ragging on them for their personal tastes, and then hypocritically say that music is a personal taste while simultaneously condemning the forum member's unacceptance of said artist. It doesn't matter how good somebody can cover another artists songs if they can't write their own; Although admittedly some of the greatest songs by the greatest bands are really just covers of other artists work- as an example "Call Me The breeze" is a million times better in the Skynyrd Performances then the JJ. Cale original.BC_P, I'm not a spammer. I posted an honest question in here because I wanted to know something that i am not computer learned enough to know. And My question if full was not being answer even though I said answer me fully and I won't re-post. DO you think I like repeating myself. Never have never will. Now as it turns out I couldn't get into a site that I was told was running. SO I came in here because you guys have helped me before. I DON'T LOAD ANYTHING ON MY COMPUTER THAT i DON'T NEED. My printer isn't even hooked up. Now, while I was going back and forth with some of you I also sent another message to FOD asking if other members were having problems getting in. And as you know soon after I was able to bring them up. At that point I was done and I said so, except that If I decided to do something about the Browser at a later date I would come back to the thread. At that point this was posted. It was totally unnecessary and yes, I always defend David from such comments. We all (fan clubs) do. Then this spiral began and you guys tried to blame me for one of your helpers' comment. Music is indeed a personal thing and I didn't send anyone in that site to do anything other than see if they had posted about a new browser being needed to access the site. Now, I am done with this in public view. I am not added to any of your post counts anymore. If you wish to further discuss this, you know how to PM me. But be warned, DJA is one of my favorite subjects, If you don't know anything about him don't bother with a PM. MODERATOR, I say again, you may close this thread...It no longer is needed.
