Howdy all...looking to improve my framerate for Oblvion. I'm running Intel CORE 2 Duo E6550 @ 2.33GHZ, 2.GB of PC 6400 DDR RAM , over 1.9TB of Sata II HD space and 2 X ATI Radeon 3850 in Crossfire (can't use Omega drivers as it doesn't support Crossfire) and I', seeing an average of 25fps near Anvil with the grass turned off (I'm getting 60-70 fps inside). I thought I'd be getting better FPS with my system. Anyone suggest any help in improving my fps? ThxWhat settings are you using in Oblivion?
I'm not an ATI user myself but it seems that the 3850 can STRUGGLE with Oblivion at high resolutions and/or with AA enabled.i dont know if bethesda updated oblivion or not, but from my own experience, and many others, oblivion lags on even the best systems. its got nothing to do with the users system but actually with bethesdas poor coding of the GAME. i was getting lag, with all the settings turned down, on an overclocked 8800 ultra with 4gbs of RAM and an overclocked E6850 CPU.
