I cannot open a new IE window (whether clicking on a link in the currently open windor or going through File; New; Window) without the ORIGINAL window closing. I'm sure the answer is simple, however, am unable to find it. :-/IE6???

6. Reset all 4 security zones to Default

You may need to do the following as well

Kudos to Raptor.Thanks for the reply Fed. I should have said IE6. I saw this reply on an earlier note and tried it but it does not solve my problem.Ditch IE and get Firefox.:-? Are you sure you carried out each step properly?

Now scroll down about a ¼ of the way and Un-check where it says

[] Reuse windows for LAUNCHING shortcuts
