Solve : Outlook exprs in WinME? |
|
Answer» Can't delelte email from the inbox. Says disk is full, it is not though. Thank you for any assisanceFaulty OE installation? Recommend ditching OE anyway, in favour of the much better and more SECURE (and free) Thunderbird. Unless you happen to have access to the full version of Outlook, which blows PRETTY much everything away. This pc has been running for 4-5 years. Never had any maint. Had a couple thousand emails in inbox. Some were deleted okay. The delted folder was emptied. Then, couldn't delete inbox emails. When you right click to delete, nothing happens. If you delete from the menu bar, get MESSAGE ' no disk space'. Plenty of free space, scandisk, defrag and virus check was done. Same result. Quote Never had any maint. You've run windows ME for five years with no maintenance?! In that CASE I'm frankly astonished the PC hasn't blown up, taking half of your city with it, indiscriminately destroying people, crops, livestock and inexplicably small dogs, and causing cancer in all rats within a 2,000 mile radius. It really is that bad. Count yourself lucky. Now get WinME off that computer as fast as you can a replace it with 98 or XP. And ditch OE! No good will ever COME of it.It might be a good time for a Windows reinstall of whatever you wish anyway. Things happen..... |
