Can anyone possibly give me a answer or clue to what might be wrong? Operating System MS Windows XP Professional 32-bit SP3 CPU Intel Pentium D 930 Presler 65nm Technology RAM 2.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 266MHz 4-4-4-12 Motherboard Intel Corporation D945GPB Graphics Acer X223W @ 1680x1050 1024MB GeForce 9400 GT (EVGA)150 °F Hard Drives 78.15GB Western Digital WDC WD800JD-22LSA0 (IDE)101 °F Optical Drives LITE-ON DVDRW SHW-1635S YBMN 01IJGT27W SCSI CdRom Device Audio SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC The processor is older and pretty slow ... your video card is very low end ... the motherboard is old ... your RAM isn't a great amount but that shouldn't have a great affect on gaming ... your HDD is also pretty old, and slow, which again wouldn't affect game performance but would affect load times, as well as the responsiveness of the machine. Where did you get this from? I hope you didn't pay much for it. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it may not be worth putting money into that system ... P.S. If I UNDERSTAND the numbering scheme properly, the hundreds digit is "more significant" generationally then the thousands PLACE. a 8800GT is better then a 9400GT, if I understand it correctly. I had a 5500FX that works fine for playing most games. That doesn't change the fact that it is otherwise obsolete.
