Answer» It seems like I can't play .SWF files in firefox, it just re-download the file.
The .swf file is working, I got the latest flash player, I have restored all the options it will do with files (like open/download file etc) I have the latest updates on the Win7 OS, CC+ 2005/2008, DirectX 11/10/9>.
I think I didn't forget anything now..swf files on web pages, or some downloaded files?I have a .swf file on my computer that I want to open. Then, you need a standalone Flash Player, like this one: http://www.wimpyplayer.com/products/wimpy_standalone_flv_player.htmlNope, didn't work. You can always download a freestanding player (ie, VLC, GOM, etc)Bad file?It was working with Internet explorer, but I got sick of all those pop-ups who opens randomly with it, so I removed it.So there is noway I can run a .swf file?
None of the programs you guys have said worked, Internet Explorer won't run it, it behave same as Firefox and want to open/save it, I have reseted the Download/open choice thing, re-install Firefox. The file is not bad because it has been working before and I tried to download some new/different ones. Upload the file(s) here: http://www.filedropper.com/ Post download link (copy URL: link): http://www.filedropper.com/tetrisIt opens just fine in FF and IE for me.It keep downloading it for me, you have any addons? Or do I need something to run them? I got Java and Shockwave.I'm not sure what your PROBLEM may be. Did you try IE?Yes, I did download the beta version today, but it also just want to download it.
