hello so i have this war3 roc cd and i wanna know if there is a way to run the game wifout the cdSorry...as much as I'd like to help, we don't provide assistance for hacks/cracks that could potentially be used for illegal purposes.  And I'm pretty sure this fits under that category.first thing this is not hacking/crack
i have the whole cd and i bought it off the store
second thing its just annoying putting cds into the comp everytime u wanna play
third thing dont critise before u even know the whole storyYeah... i had to buy a new Halo CD because i couldnt find the old one....
But still, i agree with CBMatt, To play a game without a cd is basically hacking/cracking the game and more or LESS copying it on to the computer. And when you do get it to run without the cd, you can SELL the cd which comes under the illegal part.well if u just bought it den why sell it....

they look awesomeTechnically, I don't think it's illegal provided you own the original and don't have more than one simultanious installation. If it were illegal, I think think popular websites such as www.gamecopyworld.com wouldn't still be around. But yes, the technology can be abused.I think it's in a grey area.

That's why it'd be illegal - GAMES for free.And you could pass the game and the crack along to all of your friends, making it so everyone can play without having to spend a dime.  The developers probably wouldn't be too happy about this.  Not that I'm above no-CD cracks or anything.  Ha.

One thing I've always liked about the Fallout series is that they ACTUALLY design it so you can install the game without needing a CD to run it. Quote

When was there ever any critism from me?I purchased Virtual CD, although Alcohol 120 will do the same.  These programs loads the CD (virtual copy) into a partition on your hard drive so your computer thinks the CD is loaded.  Then it's click and play.  The Virtual CD program is very easy to use.Purchased? Yeah, games like CS don't need a cd either. Thats why it's been installed on almost all the computers in school, not that i play it. I was waiting for my design technology teacher one DAY and on her desk there were 5 pages or names of people who've been playing games on the computer.

I dont think they make games playable without a cd anymore thoughso much for cs....
Alright, listen up. Even if you DID purchase your game (not saying that you did or didn't), then you could still sell the game, etc. The thing that bothers me is that other people who probably didn't buy teh game first will be able to use this topic to bypass it. I suggest that you just suck it up and insert the CD when you want to play. Everyone else does it, I'm sure you're more than capable. This topic is closed.And what in *censored* is "wif"?
