I just got a refurbished Dell LATITUDE  D 630 with Windows 7 on it. I cannot sign into my Yahoo account with this laptop. I can with my DESKTOP computer also running windows 7. I can sin in  and out easily with the desktop, Not the laptop. I am using Uverse as my provider
Help!Are you sure this laptop is connected to internet, that is you can surf google and find info on dogs etc so its not cached and appearing connected when not.

Also which browser are you using IE or Firefox or SOMETHING else?Yes I am on the internet with this computer. I use Google, but I have the same problem in IE. I also can't assess outlook. I can do all of this on my desktop , but not on my laptopTry installing Firefox browser and see if problem REMAINS. If problem remains then its not IE and if problem goes away then its an issue with IE. You may have to download firefox with other computer and then copy the installer exe to a usb drive and install it on this TROUBLED computer this way if unable to get there to download direct from this computer.I will give it a try. I chatted with Uverse and they got me in. Firefox didn't help thanks for the ideas. I don't know why it was messed up to begin with!what is the internet connection of laptop? is it wireless or wired?
