I run OneCare on all of these PC's. I did a full scan and came up clean.

One CARE is being abandoned by Microsoft...time to select some NEW protection.
Avast has a Free home user edition as well as AVG.avg would conflict with avast, maybe why your issues.Quote from: squall_01 on August 29, 2009, 10:56:57 AM

I have searched around for answers to my problem and nothing seems to work.
I am the PC Tech for a call center. We use google maps to check for surrounding stores that will get our customers what they need. I have over 200 COMPUTERS which all can access google with no problems. Then I have 1 that can't.
I tried everything I can think of. I can't ping it by google.com or the ip address the other computers see when I ping it. I get a page that says there was a DNS Server error. I tried 'ipconfig /flushdns'. Clearing browser cache, using a different browser. I get nothing. I thought it was only google.com, but I just tried to search with bing. I can pull up bing.com, but when I click search I get the same DNS Server error page. These are the only 2 sites I have found that do this.

squall you need to think things thru before hitting the Post button...i was NOT suggesting he run 2 AV applications...I know that I was meaning if he had or thought about it.squall, just accept it when you're wrong instead of making excuses all the time. Why in your wildest dreams would you think he either had run both or would run both? There's nothing in this thread to suggest he's ever used either one.

EDIT: sorry - posted at the same time as the post above.Since that he had posted that he was useing an outdated app. That is avast is a good virus scanner an avg has a good spyware scanner. Yeah, okaywhat??? I used both an know avg put it in a suite I just find that avast is a better scanner is all thoguh.Yes, squall. Just STOP replying now. Thanks.
