i TRIED reinstalling the address book...now i got that messageIf I were you, I'd make use of Mozilla Thunderbird. It is accessable quicker than your web browser and it is more user friendly than Outlook (express)Quote

Have you tried to reinstall Outlook Express from the Add/Remove Windows components MENU located in Software? The main problem is! m$oft dont really care and ,that is not all, some UPGRADES do not support all o/s......win9x.....does not really like internet explorer 6......so in you case ....dont panic....its not drastic but i would loacate the c:\windows\options\cabs folder scroll down the list till you come across an icon called scanreg.........>>>>>Next to it is an icon called SETUP.....if you click this icon......it will re-install your winme.....
and no file lost....it will take your pc BACK to the day you installed it......and i would recommend.....ie5.5 with tools instead of 6......nd i would disable winupdatestake the control back m$oft.....well part of it?.....
