I am having a problem. The wireless CONNECTION SAYS strength is excellent but certain web pages will not show up and the screen says there is a Internet connection problem. I can go to the computer hooked up to the modem and router and get service but sometimes it will not load web sites also. I am not very computer savvy so I'm not sure what explain about the problem, please bear with me! THANKS for any help.mimisbmc ..... How about a bit of history re your issue.
When did this start?
What operating system are you using?
Which version of IE are you using ?
Have you updated anything just prior to your issue starting ?

dl65 Thanks for the help. We are using Windows XP. It started about 2 weeks AGO. Nothing new has been updated or changed. Just all of a sudden the internet seemed to slow down and then sporadically the page that says Internet Explorer cannot display the page will show up. The computer that is hooked up to the modem and router is a Emachine. We are using Internet Browser 7.Has your provider changed anything lately (AT&T is notorious for that) / powered down the modem and router?

Alan <>< I am not sure. We use Cox. I will call them and ask. They have not been very helpful in solving this.
