Right-click the setup program, change compatibility to Windows 95. Run Setup program.i did the compatibly mode in windows 95 however its flagging my because i have 64bit OS not a 32 bit. Quote from: nitelife2989 on November 05, 2010, 10:56:13 PM

There is no OEM version... what error message?

There are three releases of Command & Conquer:Red Alert- the DOS version (which is a waste of time to even try to get working) the Windows version (RA95.EXE) which works PERFECTLY fine with the right compat settings in any version of windows from 95 onwards, and "The First Decade" release, which is actually exactly the same (as far as red alert is concerned) as the original release (excepting that it contains the expansions).

I suppose it's also possible we're talking about different games entirely though. (Red Alert 2 works fine as well). Quote from: BC_Programmer on November 06, 2010, 08:43:08 AM

i am referring to my OS as being OEM. i changed all the application files and setup files to run from compatibly windows 95 and am still receiving the error that it doesn't like 64 bit system.
i have attached the error message.

[recovering disk SPACE - old attachment deleted by admin]The version of Red Alert you have is not the windows version, it's the DOS version.
