Solve : Run-time Error 7: Out of Memory? |
|
Answer» Well I recently downloaded YVD(Yugioh Virtual Desktop) and it was working fine until, one day I started it up and I GOT this error message "Run-time Error 7: Out of Memory" I know my memory requirements meet the expected requirements and it was working until today. So I TRIED reinstalling it but to no avail. So I went to Command Prompt and typed, "regsvr32 COMCTL32.OCX" and it gave me a success message but YVD gave me the same error. So I then downloaded a new COMCTL32.OCX file placed the new one in my system32 folder and typed in Command Prompt "regsvr32 \windows\system32\COMCTL32.OCX" and I got a message saying "DllRegisterServer ... succeeded". But YVD still gives me the same out of mem error, what should I do? Thankis it saying you out of HDD memory or virtual memory? and did you try uninstalling and reinstalling yugiohVD?Quote from: DrNeeto on January 01, 2010, 11:14:31 AM is it saying you out of HDD memory or virtual memory? and did you try uninstalling and reinstalling yugiohVD? I'm pretty sure the error is about Virtual memory and I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. I mentioned that in my post: Quote from: IRONMAN on January 01, 2010, 10:27:57 AM So I tried reinstalling it but to no avail. It's a VB6 error code; does the program use data files located somewhere? you could try moving them, and see if it starts again. (obviously this means whatever the data files held will not be available, but it will narrow down the cause)Quote from: BC_Programmer on January 01, 2010, 01:11:28 PM It's a VB6 error code; does the program use data files located somewhere? you could try moving them, and see if it starts again.
