Hello! Im running windows 98 SE and internet explorer 6 sp1 (i think) , i have also downloaded a128 bit encription pack from MICROSOFT, but my ciphor bit is at o bit still. I have ticked all the neccassary things in internet options, ssl, tcp etc but i still can not enter a secure connection, when i try, the page can not be displayed.  i am connecting to the internet through bt broadband, if any one has any suggestions i would be really grateful!If I am not mistaken the ENCRYPTION pack will not install on an Operating System that is not also able to support the same layer of encryption.firstly thank you for replying ! could you explain in layman terms?  could that be why the encription pack didnt do anything? thank you!Here is a link to the Windows 98 DUN 128 Bit security UPDATE.  Download it and install it and let us know what happens.  http://www.knowplace.org/dl/98dun128.zip

Or better yet update to a more secure operating system.installed the file and my ciphor strength is still 0 bit, i havn't tried a secure connection though, i have three other computers 2 are xp and 1 is me, but they all need fixing so i'm stuck with this one! :-/ thanks for trying to help
